Welcome to the Angling section of Stewartby Water Sports Club

Established in 1972, SWSC Angling Section has access to one of the largest lakes in the Herts, Beds & Bucks area. We share the lake with our Sailing, Water-skiing and Powerboat racing colleagues with ample room for all. Details of these activities can be found on the club’s Main web site

The lake contains roach, roach/rudd hybrids, rudd, bream, tench, perch, pike and zander. There are also a few carp and eels, but these are caught rarely. The lake is open all year round with no closed season. We hold 2 matches a year the first is the course match (september) and the second is the predator match (november)

Stewartby Water Sports allow a small number of fishing boats to use the lake, anyone interested please contact us to find out more information
